Aaron J. Goldberg
Aaron J. Goldberg is a native of Burlington, Vermont. He attended grade school in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1974, Brandeis University in 1979 (B.A.) and Suffolk University Law School in 1982 (J.D., cum laude). He founded the Elder Law & Trust Group in 1997. He is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Goldberg's hobbies are genealogy, traveling, biking, hiking, and skiing. He lives in Burlington with his wife, Rebecca London Goldberg and their four children Dinah, Jesse, Tamar, and Isaac (whose company created this website).
Mr. Goldberg also enjoys singing, most recently performing in the 2006 Lyric Theatre production of Fiddler on the Roof as a Papa and a bottle dancer. He currently sings bass with the Green Mountain Chorus and Social Band. He is also interested in local history, serving as the Archivist of Ohavi Zedek Synagogue.
Mr. Goldberg is a former member and chairperson of the Burlington Conservation Board. He is a member of the United Way Community Impact Team which focuses on children and elders. He is on the Board of Directors of the Fern Hill housing complex. An avid supporter of the Burlington public schools, he is the founder and former chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Burlington Schools Foundation.
Dana Louria
Dana Louria is a native of Manhattan. She graduated from Boston University in 1979 with a bachelors degree in psychology (B.A.). She received a juris doctor degree from Georgetown University in 1983, (J.D.) and a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver in 1987 (M.S.W.). For 13 years, Dana practiced medical social work in Denver, Colorado, working extensively with elderly and disabled clients in hospitals, hospice, nursing homes, and home settings. She worked as a guardian ad litem for the Denver Probate Court and as a private care manager and guardian prior to moving to Vermont in 2000. Since that time, Dana has provided consultation services for Burlington Health and Rehabilitation and has worked for the Visiting Nurse Association. She began her social work services for the firm in August, 2002.
